Efficient and safe working conditions at great heights

The 142 m high Regatta complex contains 325 condominium units and has 44 storeys. In order to be able to efficiently construct the floors even at great heights, the contractor decided in favour of the RCS climbing protection panel. This completely enclosed the working areas and ensured delays due to weather were minimized. At the same time, production levels increased as workers were in extremely secure areas. Rail-guided climbing meant that the protection panel was always securely connected to the building during the climbing procedure by means of climbing shoes and rails.

For the construction of the reinforced concrete core, the ACS self-climbing system accelerated working operations as shuttering, striking and climbing could be carried out without requiring a crane. With ACS, the wall and slab formwork together with the integrated placing boom could be reliably climbed. QUATTRO column formwork and SKYDECK aluminium slab formwork ideally supplemented the PERI formwork concept. In combination with the RCS and ACS climbing systems, fast and safe completion of the individual levels could be achieved.
