The Ulm University is being enlarged by a new clinical centre at the moment – with 235 beds and 17 operation rooms and floor space of 30,000 m². Across the base construction, which is arranged like fingers, runs a four-storey wing like a magistral. As a supplement to the comprehensive formwork solution with TRIO, RAPID, FTF and SKYDECK, the 16-leg PERI UP shoring towers ensured quick construction progress. Temporarily, they transferred the loads of the main building over 16 m downwards.
Here the standards were bundled with ledgers of 50 or 150 cm to form power packs with an extremely high load-bearing capacity.
