TRIO Saving Time
On Restoration Project

As part of the $50 million restoration of the Granada Theater in downtown Santa Barbara, a goal was to retain its original 1920‘s old plank form finish. Architectural specifications also called for no vertical joints in the concrete walls. To meet these strict requirements for all exposed concrete, TRIO was lined with 1“ x 6“ (25 mm x 152 mm) planks throughout all lengths of the 10“ (25 cm) thick wall. Pour heights ranged from 13‘ (4.00 m) to 20‘ (6.10 m) with form lengths designed to hide all vertical joints in the concrete.

Superintendent

“This was my first time working with PERI, and I am very pleased with the support we have received. We especially like the BFD clamp as it allows us to change our form panels with ease. This saves us an enormous amount of time on this complex project.“
