Toll station for the Millau Bridge, France “Viaduc de Millau” in April 2004. The world-record bridge piers (max. height of the roadway, 245 m) completed with PERI ACS self-climbing technology in November 2003 support the almost completed road superstructure. Until construction work is completely finished, i.e. all the approximately 95 m high steel pylons are erected and the tension cables are installed, the temporary steel piers still remain in place.
