Indoor ice-sports arena, Dresden, Germany Positioned behind the grandstand area are 14 metre high reinforced concrete columns which carry the roof construction. With the PERI RAPID column formwork, these could be safely formed as well as guaranteeing a high quality fi nish. Furthermore, the high permissible fresh concrete pressure of 120 kN/m² allowed fast concreting. Concreting platforms together with access ladders and integrated ladder safety cages provided the necessary on-the-job safety measures.
