The new Central Bank of Kuwait headquarters broke ground in 2005 in the Sharq area of Kuwait City. The 240 m-tall triangular-shaped tower with 40 stories will be topped with a glass pyramid.
4.20 m high VARIO GT 24 was used for the core and retaining walls, single sided in combination with SB-B brace frames. 21 sets LICO column formwork helped to pour 60 cm x 60 cm up to 130 cm x 130 cm columns.
At the Al Muneera project in Abu Dhabi, Al Futtaim Carillion chose to use the VARIO GT 24 system for walls and columns as it could be used in all areas, being a versatile system with a built in safety.
