The right choice of tie system is crucial particularly for structures with special requirements such as sewage plants where waterproof concrete is necessary.
With both systems, the tie points are closed by means of bonded concrete cones. A 2-component epoxy resin is used.
Depending on the diameter of the tie rods - DW 15, DW 20, DW 26 - appropriately-sized cones and spacers are selected.
The DK system consists of the two re-usable DK cones, the re-usable tie rod and the spacer tube which remains set in the concrete. PERI supplies concrete cones to cover a wide range of architectural requirements.
With the SK system, the two re-usable SK cones are connected by a tie rod which is embedded in the concrete. However, through the use of a spacer tube, it is also possible to re-use the tie rod. The SK system is also suitable for high security areas according to the German Association for Research and Testing of Vaults and Strongroom Facility Guidelines.
